Try this super quick and clever recipe hack with Cadbury Caramilk hot cross buns. Turn them into tasty churros and dunk them in a decadent Caramilk chocolate sauce.

4 Cadbury Caramilk hot cross buns, cut into strips
50g butter, melted
1/3 cup thickened cream
180g Cadbury Caramilk chocolate, roughly chopped
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 200℃/180℃ fan-forced. Cut hot cross buns into 2cm-wide strips. Place on a baking paper-lined baking tray. Brush all over with butter and bake for 15 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Meanwhile, place cream and chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring with a metal spoon halfway through, or until melted. Transfer to a small bowl.

Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small, shallow dish. Toss hot cross bun strips, in batches, in cinnamon sugar, then arrange on a serving plate. Serve with Caramilk sauce.
