Need a dessert to wow Dad? This gooey chocolate frying-pan cake topped with vanilla ice-cream, chopped hazelnuts and fresh raspberries takes indulgence to a whole new level.

  • 340g Woolworths chocolate cake mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 free range eggs, lightly beaten
  • 60g unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate fudge topping
  • 1L Woolworths vanilla ice-cream
  • 1/3 cup roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 63g raspberries

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease and line base of a 26x20cm oven-proof non-stick frying pan with baking paper.

Prepare cake mix following packet instructions and using milk, eggs and butter. Pour cake batter into the prepared pan and level the surface. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a skewer inserted at the centre comes out clean. Remove from oven. Stand for 5 minutes.

Top cake with topping, ice-cream, hazelnuts and raspberries.
